1. Introduction

Welcome to PasteMD. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PasteMD service operated by PasteMD ("we", "us", or "our"). By using our service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

PasteMD is a markdown document sharing service that allows users to create, share, and collaborate on markdown documents. We offer both free and paid subscription plans.

3. User Accounts

You may use basic features without an account. To access additional features, you can sign in using Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PasteMD to: upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content; violate intellectual property rights; distribute malware or spam; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid subscriptions are processed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you create. By using PasteMD, you grant us a license to host, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

8. Disclaimer

PasteMD is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.

9. API Terms

API access is available only to Pro subscribers. You must keep your API key confidential. Rate limits apply: 100 documents per month for Pro plan. We reserve the right to suspend API access for abuse. API-generated documents are subject to the same terms as web-created documents.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
